The fish restaurant Le Dome will win the hearts of many gourmets.
Māris Astić, responsible for the cuisine of the restaurant Le Dome, is a member of the Latvian Chef Club, the inventor of unique recipes, a tireless experimenter and a hunter with experience.
Once he participated in the opening of “Le Dome”, then cooked in the best restaurants of Riga and won gastronomic contests.
“You can enter the same river as many times as you like,” Maris told himself once and returned to Le Dome.
Now he lures guests with new culinary ideas, updating the menu four times a year. Māris remains loyal to seasonal produce only. His favorite ingredients are Latvian eel, catfish, pike perch, pike rabbit, deer meat and wild boar. And in the summer and autumn, Maris travels to the forest to collect chanterelles, boletus mushrooms, strawberries, cranberries, juniper and cloudberries, which they later use in cooking the most exquisite dishes. His talent for discovering the unexpected properties of familiar products delights the guests of the trendy culinary studios Gemoss and Viesistaba, where Maris master classes collect notices.
